WETS Australian Light Horse Trooper 'watering his Waler'

From the new master figures I just received from sculptor Alan Caton (see previous post)  I've already seen so many possibilities for new figures simply by swapping arms, heads, weapons etc.

Here's a little 'vignette' I made this evening of an Australian Light Horseman 'watering his Waler' (the name given to Australian horses serving abroad) in Egypt C.1916.  The scene depicts a trooper about to give his mount a well earned drink drink although the horse is more concerned with investigating the feral Egyptian kitten that's just had a swipe at his nose!

Have fun with your modelling ... that's what it's all about :-)
